Enhancing & Expanding Educational Opportunities

The Tewksbury Education Foundation (TEF) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization established to enhance and expand educational opportunities for more than 600 students in the two schools of the Tewksbury Township district.

Barn Dance

The Barn Dance has been a marvelous community and school-wide tradition for over two and a half decades. It is not only a TEF event, but Tewksbury’s biggest event of the year. We are thrilled to be back in the Spring of 2022! We invite you all - parents, administration, alumni and friends - to join us as we mark our 27th anniversary! We promise this will be an affair to remember and we look forward to sharing the night as we celebrate our students, staff, schools and all that we have accomplished together in the last 27 years. This event serves as our largest fundraiser of the year and it is a wonderful opportunity to raise our glasses and dance the night away while to raise funds to support curriculum-enriching programs and mini grants for our Tewksbury Township public schools. Contact event chair, Carrie Martinelli, below with questions or to volunteer.

2020-2021 Accomplishments

Although we were unable to bring providers in-person, we managed to accomplish quite a bit and raise funds through exciting events and generous donations. In 2020-2021, we saw Astronomy Night, Show Some Love to a Teacher, a Holocaust Speaker, Kentucky Bourbon Tasting Event, and Mini Grants including a virtual field trip with a zookeeper for our remote 2nd graders and wind Instrument try-out kits for our 3rd graders.
