Enhancing & Expanding Educational Opportunities

The Tewksbury Education Foundation (TEF) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization established to enhance and expand educational opportunities for more than 600 students in the two schools of the Tewksbury Township district.

1 Mile and 5K Race

Big news - we have partnered with the Beautiful Beast of Hunterdon to bring you an incredible experience at a new location (Columbia Trail)! The TEF is the official sponsor of the 1 mile and 5K “King of the Hill” race which will compliment the Beast 15K. Young ones and walkers will still delight in a one mile loop on the beautiful campus of Hunterdon County ESC while 5K and 15K registrants will run above the river and falls and then wind their way through the gorge, taking in all Hunterdon County has to offer. Hang out after for a fishing derby, beer garden, food trucks and more family-friendly activities.

This event serves as the culminating event of our wellness program. Fourth graders receive programming throughout the school year from Pro-Activity Associates. OTS students receive programming from Hunterdon Healthcare.

Barn Dance

The Barn Dance has been a marvelous community and school-wide tradition for two and a half decades. It is not only a TEF event, but Tewksbury’s biggest event of the year. In the Spring of 2020 we are kicking it up a notch as we plan to host an unforgettable affair. We invite you all - parents, administration, alumni and friends - to join us as we mark our 25th anniversary! We promise this will be an affair to remember and we look forward to sharing the night with you all as we celebrate our students, staff, schools and all that we have accomplished together in the last 25 years. This event serves as our largest fundraiser of the year and it is a wonderful opportunity to raise our glasses and dance the night away while to raise funds to support curriculum-enriching programs and mini grants for our Tewksbury Township public schools. Contact event chair, Carrie Martinelli, below with questions or to volunteer.
